The Last Air Bender

I'm sure you know avatar cartoon,right?
And I know you like it,just like me.
In America it's called "The Last Air Bender".
I never expect that Avatar ( The Last Air bender ) will maked in movie version,in real character.
I'm very happy when I heard it!
Coz I can see Aang,Zuko and the others in the real Avatar movie!
In a casting report, Entertainment Weekly claimed that Jesse McCartney and Jackson Rathbone's names have popped out in the cast ensemble list for the live-action adaptation of animation series "Avatar: The Last Airbender".
While McCartney has been said to still be in negotiation for the role of Zuko, the Fire Nation's evil prince.
Rathbone, who recently appeared as Jasper Hale in "Twilight", is lined-up to be Aang's pal named Sokka.
Joining them are Noah Ringer who may take the main character, Aang.
And Nicola Peltz who will star as Sokka's sister, Katara.

To be differentiated from James Cameron's "Avatar", "The Last Airbender" has dropped "Avatar" from its title. It tells the story of the successor to a long line of Avatars who must put aside his irresponsible ways and stop the Fire Nation from enslaving the Water, Earth and Air nations. The Paramount Pictures film eyes to hit U.S. theaters on July 2, 2010.

bleach

Bleach dan Death note merambah bioskop AS



National CineMedia, distributor teater digital yang pernah menayangkan movie Naruto, membawa kabar gembira bagi otaku Amerika Serikat. Pasalnya, mereka akan menayangkan movie pertama Bleach, Memories of Nobody, pada 11 dan 12 Juni mulai pukul 19.30 waktu setempat.

Pelanggan e-mail majalah Shonen Jump (Viz Media) mendapat perlakukan istimewa. Mereka bisa membeli tiket lebih awal. Tiket untuk pelanggan setia mulai dijual 2-8 Mei. Sedangkan penonton reguler baru bisa membelinya pada 9 Mei.

Yang istimewa, nggak hanya movie yang diputar. Penonton diberi sajian plus berupa cuplikan adegan behind-the-scene dan wawancara dengan sutradara yang menangani serial dan movie Bleach, Abe Noriyuki.

Masih dari Viz Media, Viz Pictures, salah satu perusahaan berafiliasi mereka, juga memastikan akan memutar movie live action Death Note di Amerika Serikat. Death Note bakal diputar di 300 bioskop di penjuru negeri Paman Sam itu selama dua hari. Yaitu, pada 20 dan 21 Mei.

Penayangan movie Death Note akan diiringi dengan "bonus" berupa wawancara dengan sang sutradara, Kaneko Shusuke. Selain itu, penonton bisa menyaksikan klip berdurasi 20 menit yang menceritakan proses produksinya.

Seperti halnya Bleach, pelanggan Jump diberi kesempatan untuk mendapatkan tiket lebih awal. Bila penonton umum baru bisa menggenggam tiket pada 21 April, pelanggan Jump bisa mendapatkannya mulai 18 April.

Viz juga akan menayangkan movie live-action kedua Death Note, The Last Name. Namun, jadwalnya masih dirahasiakan. (ran/ANN)

Five Minutes Biography

Five Minutes adalah sebuah band pop rock yang berasal dari Kota Kembang Bandung berdiri tahun 1994. Kini, Five Minutes digawangi oleh Ricky Tjahyadi (keyboard), Richie Setiawan (vokal), Drie Warnanta (bass), Roelhilman (gitar), dan Aria Yudhistira (drum).

== Formasi awal ==?? Drie dan Ricky bertemu di awal tahun 1990-an dan sempat membentuk band yang tampil di sejumlah kafe. Namun band ini hanya bertahan selama 2 tahun. Mereka kemudian membentuk Five Minutes bersama Sonny (gitaris) dan Sanny (vokalis) di tahun 1994 untuk mengikuti Fetival Band Se-Jabar DKI di Bandung. Dalam ajang tersebut mereka berhasil menjadi juara 1 dari 102 peserta. Tak lama, mereka pun masuk dapur rekaman. Album perdana mereka bertajuk Five Minutes (1996), yang diikuti oleh Five Minutes 2 (1997), Ouw! (2002), Sekat (2003), dan The Best +5 (2004). Penampilan yang unik dengan mengenakan sarung di panggung, menjadi salah satu daya tarik mereka.

FORMASI BARU
Setelah album The Best, Sanny sang vokalis dan Sonny (gitaris) mengundurkan diri. Ricky dan Drie pun berburu personel baru. Akhirnya Richie (vokal), Roelhilman (gitar), dan Aria Yudhistira (drum) melengkapi formasi Five Minutes yang baru. Pada bulan Juni 2007, mereka merilis album baru bertajuk Rockmantic. Mereka pun menanggalkan sarung yang selama ini lekat sebagai image mereka.
