Jakarta - Innalillahi wainna ilaihi rojiun. Mantan Presiden Abdurrahman Wahid alias Gus Dur wafat. Saat ini jenazah Gus Dur masih berada di RSCM.

"Innnalilahi wa inna Ilaihi rojiun telah meninggal dunia Kyai Haji Abdurrahman Wahid di RSCM. Al Fatihah," kata Bambang Susanto dalam statusnya di Facebook, Rabu (30/12/2009). Bambang Susanto merupakan asisten pribadi Gus Dur.

Saat dikonfirmasi detikcom, Bambang memang membenarkan bahwa Gus Dur meninggal dunia. "Iya benar. Sudah dulu ya mbak," kata Bambang saat dikonfirmasi.

Pendapatan Film 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' yang bercerita soal kisah kasih drakula romantis berhasil mengalahkan film '2012'. Film yang dibintangi oleh Robert Pattinson itu mampu meraup uang sebesar US$ 258 juta atau senilai dengan Rp 2,4 triliun lebih.

Film 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' di Amerika Serikat dan Kanada saja selama tiga hari pemutarannya telah mencetak penghasilan lebih dari US$ 140 juta (Rp 1,3 triliun lebih). Sedangkan '2012' hanya bisa mendapat US$ 65 juta (Rp 607 miliar).

Sedangkan di 25 negara lainnya, Edward Cullen dan kawan-kawan mampu memukau penggemarnya sehingga bisa meraih pendapatan sebesar US$ 118 juta (Rp 1,1 triliun lebih). Wow!

Artinya, film yang ditayangkan perdana pada Jumat (20/11/2009) lalu itu menjadi yang terlaris ketiga sepanjang sejarah. Rekor film paling laku sepanjang sejarah dalam tiga hari pemutarannya dipegang oleh film karya sutradara Christopher Nolan, 'The Dark Knight' dengan pendapatan US$ 158 juta (Rp 1,5 triliun).

Lalu di posisi runner up ditempati oleh film 'Spider Man 3' yang dibintangi oleh Tobey Maguire dengan penghasilan US$ 151 juta (Rp 1,4 triliun).

Film 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' mengalahkan pendahulunya, film 'Twilight', yang mendapatkan US$ 69 juta (Rp 656 miliar) di 2008 lalu. Keduanya merupakan film yang diadaptasi dari novel dengan judul yang sama karya Stephanie Meyer.

Di Jakarta, film 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' juga ditunggu-tunggu oleh penggemarnya. Buktinya antrean panjang dan penonton yang kehabisan tiket masih ada.

Hanya saja, film yang disutradarai oleh Chris Weitz itu masih mengalah dari film '2012'. 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' belum diputar di banyak bioskop di Jakarta, berbeda dengan '2012' yang diputar hampir di seluruh bioskop dengan rata-rata lebih dari dua studio. (detik)

Good bye Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson, King of Pop, died in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon after suffering an apparent cardiac arrest in his home. MJ was 50 years old.

Jackson was pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m. at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center not far from his rental mansion in the Holmby Hills. The cause of death wasn't known. An autopsy is set for Friday.

"It's a very sad day for all of us," Jackson's manager, Frank DiLeo, tells PEOPLE. " It's such a terrible shame. He was my friend." As for Jackson's three children ? Blanket, 7, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael, 12 ? DiLeo says, "The kids are very upset, but they are fine."
